Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, preparing the monthly TB, generating the aging AR report and following up on collection, has a good understanding of the financial statements and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Assisting in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances. Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
- Generating the aging AR report and follow up on collection.
- Assisting with annual external audit. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim.
- Preparing local financial statements.
- Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy.
- Training and mentoring junior staff.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Ensuring proper implementation for corporate P&P
Qualifications and Skills
- 4-7 years’ of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
- Analytical Skills including Ratio Analysis
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Good command of English
