Job Description
Specific tasks and responsibilities:
· Conduct outreach visits in the community to identify vulnerable families and/or individuals among the host community and the migrants and refugees’ communities in order to establish their protection needs;
· Organize and conduct home visits to collect meaningful information to determine the eligibility of the beneficiaries to the services provided by CESVI;
· Coordinate with case management officers in providing the necessary counselling and assistance;
· Participate in beneficiaries needs assessments to determine protection concerns and responses;
- Responsible for the assessment, management and follow-up of the community based care arrangement.
· Manage and carry out collection, analysis and interpretation of field data and prepare reports;
- Organize and conduct CRIs distribution at community level;
· Coordinate with MEAL team to conduct PDM related visits on the activities conducted;
- Organize and conduct awareness sessions and dissemination of information on protection principles and services available;
- Refer cases externally to other organizations for the necessary support;
- Follow-up on cases referred internally and externally;
· Represent CESVI in a professional manner in meetings and ensure good cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, trainings and meetings regarding, among others, Child Protection, GBV and PSS;
- Respect Cesvi’s Standard Operating Procedures and Code of Conduct for the Confidentiality and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment;
- Fulfil any other duties relating to nature of the job as may be requested by the Supervisor for the best development of Cesvi activities.
