Job Description
May include but not limited to:
– Deliver high quality teaching and learning (including tutorials) and undertake a full range of associated administration, quality standards, preparation, and to follow assessment processes, including the grading of student work.
– Development of course materials. Ie. Presentation slides, assignments, tutorials, examinations etc
– Contribute to assignment brief writing and provide and implement appropriate resources.- Advise guide, and support learners to identify and achieve their learning aims.
– Participate in the learner recruitment and selection process.
– Fully comply with all Academic Processes
– Track and document learners’ progress.
– Manage courses ensuring high levels of learner satisfaction, retention, achievement and progression.
– Follow assessment processes for the course and Liaise as appropriate with internal and external verifiers, moderators and other relevant external bodies.
– Secure and contribute to enrichment activities including visits, placements, visiting speakers, and other activities as required.
– Participate in any staff reviews, performance management processes and meetings.
– Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the post.
Job Requirements
– Candidates will have a Master’s degree in business or related curriculum area; hold a recognized teaching qualification and a current assessor or verifier qualification.
– The ability to communicate and explain in the English Language.
– Equivalent qualifications will be considered.
– A proven career in both business and education
– Minimum of 5 years in a learning environment.
– Minimum of 5 years teaching adult learners.
– Well-honed presentation skills.
– Knowledge of adult learning principles.
