Job Purpose

The Programme Specialist for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Gender Base Violence (GBV) incumbent will be the principal adviser and manager at the sub Country Office level for integrated Programme in sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights. You will work in an integrated manner with the technical and Programme staff in the Country Office

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Advanced University degree(Master)in medical science, public health, social work public/community health, gender, or any other related field

Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible relevant professional experience in SRH programme implementation and service provision including experience in gender/GBV programming.
Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and team working skills and ability to establish harmonious working relations in an international and multicultural environment
Strong knowledge of sexual and reproductive health, HIV and protection issues in humanitarian and post-conflict/ recovery settings
Understanding of gender issues in humanitarian and post-conflict/ recovery, particularly GBV, including relevant international human rights standards

Languages
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
