Job Description

• Adhere to Children Safeguarding Policy, PSEA Policy, code of conduct, and report concerns.
• Raise awareness of the affected communities about the safeguarding system and how to report concerns
•  Basic and specialised counselling to refugees, asylum seekers and irregular migrants in Western Libya currently hosted at UNHCR Shelter;
  • Design of individual holistic rehabilitation plans, including follow-up sessions for cases;
  • Develop and carry out collection and interpretation of field data reports for cases;
  • Provision of focused support to PoCs through group activities, targeting children, adolescents and adults, women and girls hosted at shelter;
  • Represent CESVI in a professional manner in meetings and ensure good cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
  • Closely coordinate with CESVI staff in the Shelter and participate in regular meetings with partners and other stakeholders;
  • Submit weekly/monthly activity reports to CESVI management on the progress of psychosocial activities;

Job Requirements

1. University degree in psychology.
   • Preferable 2-3 years of work experience were
   experience in working with UN or Non‐
   Governmental organizations can be seen as a
   strong asset
   • Experience in handling cases is an asset.
   • Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum
   standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset.
   • Previous experience of work with migrant and
   refugee communities is an asset.
   • Good understanding of Protection Principles and
   Case Management standards
   • Good command of written and spoken English is
   preferable.
   • Good communication skills and ability to conduct
   training and awareness campaigns
   • Good computer skills especially Microsoft
   packages.
   • Good organizational and management skills.
   • Ability to work with minimum supervision
