The organization
Première Urgence Internationale (PUI) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious international aid organization. Our teams are committed to supporting civilians’ victims of marginalization and exclusion, or hit by natural disasters, wars and economic collapses, by answering their fundamental needs. Our aim is to provide emergency relief to uprooted people in order to help them recover their dignity and regain self-sufficiency.

The association leads, on average, 190 projects each year in the following sectors of intervention: protection, food security, health, nutrition, construction and rehabilitation of infrastructures, water, sanitation, hygiene and economic recovery. PUI is providing assistance to around 5 million people in 21 countries – in Africa, Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe and France.

Première Urgence Internationale has been operating in Libya since 2017, particularly in the regions of Benghazi and, from 2019, in Al Kufra, to strengthen the resilience of the most vulnerable populations affected by ongoing crises, improve their access to essential services. The organization’s intervention in the country is built upon an integrated approach combining the provision of comprehensive primary healthcare services, psychosocial support, WASH activities, and infrastructure and rehabilitation. Première Urgence Internationale develops public infrastructures’ rehabilitation and restoration in areas affected by several years of conflict. Since October 2024, PUI has launched an emergency health and WASH response to assist Sudanese refugees and host populations in the Al-Kufra region.

Job Description
Overall objective
Under the supervision of the MEAL Officer and in close cooperation with the mobile health team members, the MHT Health Supervisor will be in charge of data collection, data analysis and sources of verification archiving, as well as supporting the Mobile Health Team in terms of organization of patients flow, MHT operations and logistics, community outreach and education activities.

Specific objectives and linked activities
1.       MHT Operations and Logistics

·         Support the health team in setting up and organizing the Mobile Health Clinics and the patient flow

·         Communicate with patients, families and healthcare providers

·         Assist with administrative tasks

2.       Health Education

·         Assist the Outreach team in organizing awareness campaigns and outreach activities

·         Develop activities reports

3.       Data collection and data entry

·         Data collection and data entry: Maintain accurate patient paper-based and electronic records and documentation

·         Support the health team in properly filling the medical forms and other activities documentation to ensure high quality SoV

·         Collect all Sources of Verification (SoVs) of the activities, including attendance sheets and pictures

·         Work closely with the MEAL Officer to support in the data analysis and reporting activities

·         Participate in data collection activities (Post Distribution Monitoring Surveys, Patients Satisfaction Surveys among others)

4.       Archiving

·         Data archiving: centralize, collect and compile all the sources of verification and data collected throughout the course of the MHT activities including community outreach activities

·         Responsible for the physical archives organization and regular update

·         Scan on a regular basis the SoV collected and organize them by activity and month

5.       Other duties

·         Participate in the project team meetings

·         Respect PUI rules and report any safety or security information to his/her manager

·         Due to the nature of the tasks to be performed, confidentiality is a requirement

 

In general, the Collaborator has to remain flexible and to perform any other duties as required for the good care of patients.

NB: This job description may be subject to modifications in the future, depending on the evolution of the activities. These modifications will then be defined and discussed between the Collaborator and PUI

X   Bachelor‘s degree on public health or other relevant specialization
