Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Responsibility: Manage and promote Reach Surgical’s product portfolio, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all products and their applications.
Customer Engagement: Schedule appointments and maintain consistent, professional communication with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams, including both pre-arranged visits and proactive outreach.
Sales Growth: Increase the sales and market share of Reach Surgical products through strategic territory management and effective sales execution.
Channel Follow-Up: Regularly engage with various Consumables sales channels to build and sustain relationships that support sales objectives
Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans that include clear goals, action steps, timelines, and resource allocations.
Relationship Building: Establish and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals across a range of settings, including private practices, hospitals, pharmacies, and community health offices, using a mix of one-on-one sales presentations, group discussions, and exhibits at medical meetings.
Account Strategy: Design and implement innovative approaches in key accounts to enhance product positioning and sales.
Product Presentations: Conduct presentations to doctors, nurses, and pharmacists in various medical settings, including GP offices, hospitals, retail pharmacies, and in larger venues such as hotels or conference centers, as needed.
Event Organization: Organize and manage conferences and educational events for doctors and other medical staff, coordinating logistics and promotion as required.
Surgical Attendance: Attend surgeries with clients to observe and support the usage of Reach Surgical’s products during procedures, providing technical guidance as needed to ensure optimal product performance.
Reporting: Maintain a robust reporting system to ensure optimal communication of information related to physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies with the Medical Field Sales Manager.
Resource Management: Oversee the distribution and use of promotional materials, samples, and educational resources in a manner that maximizes impact while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and their product developments to inform Reach Surgical’s market strategies.
Retail Calls: Conduct regular visits to retail pharmacies and special customer accounts, ensuring consistent communication and support.
Database Management: Maintain detailed records of all contacts and engagements with healthcare professionals, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
Professional Development: Participate in company meetings, technical presentations, and briefings to stay informed on product updates and industry developments.
Sales Targets: Achieve annual sales goals byeffectively managing time, setting priorities, and coordinating closely with the Sales Manager.
Knowledge of Clinical Data: Stay informed about the latest clinical data provided by Reach Surgical, discussing and presenting relevant information with healthcare professionals to support product adoption.
Event and Promotion Planning: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to plan and organize events, promotions, and special sales initiatives. Liaise with Reach Surgical’s Marketing department to align efforts with brand strategy.
Regular Meetings and Reporting: Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to discuss market conditions, report on field visits, and address any issues requiring corrective actions.
Market Research: Support ongoing market research efforts to ensure Reach Surgical understands customer needs and market trends.
Additional Responsibilities: Complete other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager to contribute to Reach Surgical’s overall goal
Work Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
Education and Training:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in a relevant field.
- Fluently speak, read and write English and Arabic
- Able to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and the internet
- Excellent communication skills and have an ability to maintain a good working relationship with clients.
- Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations.
