 Job Purpose:

INTERSOS (Libya mission) is recruiting a Data Entry Operator (DEO) for the programme’s operations to support data entries in Tripoli and Sabha. DEO will prepare, compile enter data, verify and ensure both accuracy and quality of data for reporting and decision-making.

Main Duties:

• Responsible for maintenance of office records with respect to general management
• Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
• Validate source documents for accuracy
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Obtain further information for incomplete documents (quality of data)
• Enter data from source document into database
• Update existing data
• Sort, organize and store documents after entering data to ensure it is not lost
• Comply with data integrity and information security policies
• Any other task related to the job as assigned by supervisor

 Essential qualification and work experience:

• A minimum of bachelor’s degree in any related discipline such as computer science, information technology, etc.
• At least one year of demonstrated experience in similar capacity with public or private sector organization(s).
• Strong hold over computer office applications usage i.e. Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and data entry software.
• Basic understanding of databases.

Skills and attributes:

• Person with in-depth knowledge and experience Data collection.
• Good command of Arabic and English both oral and written, French would be an advantage
• Minimum typing speed required is 45 words per minute (WPM) in both Arabic and English.
• Good communication skill.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with different nationalities
• Attention to details.
• Organized and multi-tasking.
• Problem solver

 Languages:

• Fluency in Arabic & English.
