Job Description

  • Supervise and monitor the implementation of Case Management and assessment for hosting families.
  •  Provide the Community-Based Protection Case Workers with technical guidance, capacity.
  • building and direction for effective planning, implementation and monitoring of the
    activities.
  •  Being focal point for Community-based care solutions external and internal referrals.
  •  Being responsible for the organization of Panels for financial assistance to  Caregivers.
  •  Being responsible for the organization of Assessments to be conducted by the Outreach team.
  •  Overview and supervise the organization of home visits in collaboration with the other teams.
  •  With the support of the Community Mobilizers’ Focal Point, organize and call for meetings and trainings for Community Members.
  •  With the support of the Capacity Building Coordinator, organize a plan of trainings to be held for Caregivers and Community Mobilizers.
  •  Conduct weekly coordination and case management supervision meetings with case workers.
  •  Liaise with psychologists, CP Supervisor, GBV Supervisor and other relevant staff at CDC and Social Center to provide specific assistance to individuals hosted in community-based care solutions and address identified needs.
  •  Drafting regular reports and review meetings minutes drafted from staff members;
  •  Updating relevant databases and tools.
  •  Respect Cesvi’s Standard Operating Procedures and Code of Conduct for the Confidentiality and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment.>
  •  Participate at team meetings and trainings, especially concerning community-based care solutions.
  •  Represent Cesvi in a professional manner in meetings and ensure effective cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors.
  •  Coordinate with other relevant stakeholders in order to ensure coordination, implementation of common standards in the field and consideration of protection issues.
  •  Assist in performing other tasks as requested by the CDC Managers, the CP/GBV Specialist

Job Requirements

  1. At least 1year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations
    Experience in handling cases is an asset.
  2. Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset.
  3. Good understanding of Protection Principles and Case Management standards
  4. Good command of written and spoken English.
  5. Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness campaigns
  6. Good computer skills especially Microsoft packages.
  7. Good organizational and management skills.
  8. Ability to work with minimum supervision
