Job Description
The project “Enhancing the resilience of vulnerable girls and boys in West Libya through access to quality education and PsychoSocial Support services”, funded by UNICEF, intends to promote a favorable protection environment for girls and boys affected by the crisis in Western Libya through protection monitoring, provision of psychosocial assistance, child protection services and safe learning environment.

Specific tasks and responsibilities:
- Conduct case management services for vulnerable children at risk by following related standard of procedures;
- Contribute to the daily quality implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Child Protection case management and activities;
- Provide support to the implementation of PSS plan and other relevant child protection activities at the Social Centre when requested;
- Conduct Child Protection Training of Trainers to dedicated staff with support of Child Protection Supervisor and GBV/CP Manager;
- Manage and carry out collection, analysis and interpretation of Child Protection field data and prepare reports;
- Represent Cesvi in a professional manner in meetings and ensure good cooperation with local partners and other relevant actors;
- Closely coordinate with Cesvi staff and participate in regular meetings with partners and other stakeholders;
- Proactively contribute to quality and timely drafting of weekly, monthly reports on the progress of Child Protection activities;
- Fulfil any other additional task requested by the Child Protection Supervisor.
Duty station: Misrata
Responsible to: The Child Protection Case Worker works under the supervision of the Misrata Center Officer.

Job Requirements
- University degree in administration, accountancy, psychology, social work, social administration, social sciences, development studies, or a relevant field.
- At least 1-year experience with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations.
- Experience in handling cases is an asset.
- Trainings in child protection and/or GBV minimum standards and gender mainstreaming are an asset.
- Good understanding of Protection Principles and Case Management standards.
- Reasonable command of English.
- Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness campaigns.
- Good computer skills especially Microsoft packages.
- Good organizational and management skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
