Job Description

The role of the Ops Room Watch-keeper is to coordinate all communications traffic for the

protection teams, static guards and all client staff when deployed on the ground. He will

work in the operations department and will report directly to their supervisor.

  • Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out duties in support of the Operations Management.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and reports to Operations Management as per their procedures.
  • Promulgate all information of any incidents to the Operations Management.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all mobile and static teams.
  • Assist the mission’s teams with missions and route planning. (If there’s mission).
  • Provide mission teams and any project Ops room if they request with relevant updates and      en-route status, SPOTREPS, intelligence, significant activities and areas to avoid on an immediate and urgent basis.
  • Manage and control all incidents in conjunction with the Operations Management.
  • Attend meetings, to keep abreast of changes in operational procedures, directives, or new technologies for security operations.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to Operations Supervisor.
  • Verify that all systems functioning correctly (CCTV, vehicle tracking, traffic).
  • Ensure that the radio communication system is working properly.
  • Obey and enforce site rules and regulations.
  • Apply all safety, security and preventive measures from Covid-19.
  • Maintain an environment in which employees, visitors and property are well protected and safe .
  • Follow the instructions to evacuate in case of emergency.
  • Responding to medical emergencies, threats, and alarms (fire and theft) and following the
  • approved company instructions and procedures.
  • Ensure that various logs/forms are maintained and kept up-to-date.
  • Carry out daily Radio tests on all projects and locations.
  • Log all communications with the teams on the log Keep movement control log updated throughout APT deployment (Advanced Persistent Threat), compile all relevant team statistics as directed by the Operations Management.
  • Follow the instructions to evacuate in case of emergency.
  • Responding to medical emergencies, threats, alarms (fire and theft) and follow the approved company instructions and procedures.
  • Follow current affairs on social media and circulate the relevant news to the company.

Job Requirements

  • Proven professional working experience of no less than 2 years as same field – optional.
  • Ability to achieve measurable results through collaboration and influence.
  • Advanced ability to communicate with employees at all levels (both verbal and written
  • communication skills).
  • Capability of Working with Minimal Supervision.
  • Superior attention to Detail, Organization and Computer Skills.
  • Spoken and written English.
  • Team work .
  • Age 25-35
  • Ability to work under pressures.
  • Full time ( Shifts ).

Working hours:

You usually operate 12 hours a day so you will need to work shifts which can be made up of mornings and nights, weekends, and public holidays.

You may be required for additional stand-by and on-call duties.
